Iowa Gymnest - Gymnastics

Since it’s establishment in 1973 the Iowa Gym-Nest has been a leader in boy’s competitive gymnastics in the state of Iowa. Over the years Iowa Gym-Nest athletes have won numerous state and regional championships, both individually and as a team. The Iowa Gym-Nest is a member of USA gymnastics and currently has approximately 40 athletes competing in levels 4 through 10.

Because of time and space constraints positions in our competitive program are limited. As a general rule we have more interest in our team program than we can accommodate. Therefore, participation in our team program is by invitation only and is determined by ability, attitude and parental interest.

In keeping with our mission statement we have never measured success in how many medals are won at a competition. Our goal is to help develop strong, healthy, confident children through the sport of gymnastics. Our definition of success is helping each athlete reach his potential as a gymnast, and as a person.
