Development Program (DP) Team

Iowa Gym-Nest has competive team programs in Levels 3-10 and Elite. Our focus is not as much on the team aspect of the competitions, but rather on the individual accomplishments of each of our athletes.  We pride ourselves on coaching in a positive, progressive manner which helps each athlete reach her individual potential.  Our overall goal is not on winning, but on helping each athlete be the best gymnast and person that she can be, which is oftentimes more difficult. We strive to develop our athetes' integrity, self-control, work ethic, and self-esteem; qualities which will help them throughout their lives.  In addition, our team athletes have a strong bond, developing life-long friendships with each other and their coaches.
